Abstract

This article reflects the research and educational advance that has emerged in recent years to respond to the problem of school violence and conflict through coexistence. To prevent this phenomenon and improve the school coexistence offers ten keys, result from the analysis of initiatives and programs being developed in our country. Secondly, it describes the main role of coexistence in improving the quality of education through legislative and governmental contributions, highlighting the creation of the Observatories of Coexistence. Finally, it offers a proposal for teaching-educational model to build the coexistence, focusing on three fundamental supports: curriculum, interpersonal relationships and activity.
