What does happen to the children with tics?

Abstract

This article tries to give an approach to the subject of children’s tics. The tics can go from a transitory disorder up to a Tourette Syndrome, reasons why we can find a wide range of manifestations and implications in the life’s subject. Not always it´s easy to identify the tics and sometimes  enough time happens before coming to the diagnosis of the problem, getting even to visit different specialist. This situation indicates us that the professional who possibly takes part in the educative environment don´t have the necessary tools of intervention and identification, although the tics can be joined to problems like TDA-H. That it´s widely know in this environment our interest is in  showing a quite frequent but unknown problem, sensitizing in this way the training necessity that in this aspect the psychologist have.
