Abstract

The Early Intervention Diagnostic Classification System (ODAT) was at first conceived as a project aimed to include within a single system the wide range of problems which are currently referred to Early Intervention Centers. In order to achieve an appropiate systematization of the different taxonomies which currently deal with child development disorders the project was conducted under eclectic premises. At last, a unified framework was achieved which maybe useful not only for classifying risk factors or developmental disorders but also to improve Early Intervention management as a whole.
