Abstract

It is essential to keep healthy exercise behaviors to know their reasons for current practice and beliefs regarding the benefits of exercise. This research focuses on describing which are the reasons cited by the women doing regular exercise and its influence on the degree completion of exercise. The study included 215 women practisers who reported regular exercise and ad hoc questionnaire measuring the frequency of exercise, current practice motives, beliefs about the benefits of exercise and the number of physical activities they performed. The results showed differences in the reasons and beliefs dependening on terms as hours of practice and the number of sport and physical activities done. Finally, we show some recommendations based on found result.
