A model of work to evaluate the urban communities needs

The objective of this work is to present a model of investigation in the community to evaluate the social needs of the neilbourghood.
We start from the voiced needs of the population wich were obtained from the answers to an upen question about how to improve the district.
It was selected a representative sample of a district belonged to a population form an industrial area of Valencia. Once the sample’s answers, to the upen item were got, a qualitative analysis, of the information was applied by the stablishment of twelve thematic categories wich assemble the answers by means of their thematic similarity of requests.
The content of each category is exposed with the frecuency of the answers corresponding to each thematic block or more specific answers groups that constitute those categories.
