Abstract

The incidence of people who have suffered sexual abuse during childhood or adolescence is high. These people, for long, at times, have had to live with her perpetrador, sometimes pshysically and sometimes in his mind. Come as your life gradually break down, suffer all kinds of physical ailments, sexual difficulties and psychological problems. When the child sexual abuse occurs at an early age and has been extended over time, relations with developing disorders specifically Anxiety and Posttraumatic Stress Disorder is more than significant. The objective of this theoretical review is to provide greater understanding of the relationship between childhood sexual abuse and the development of Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, knowing their etiology, epidemiology, development, evolution and treatment.
