Abstract

The objectives of this paper are to analyze and reflect on the structure of accreditation and accreditation criteria in coaching due to perceived issues to be solved by Official Psychology Colleges of Spain. Conducting a theoretical reflection on the subject, in terms of the structure of accreditation, it is not well defined what areas of  knowledge (specialties) represent those areas of  knowledge, areas of intervention or intervention  strategies (sub-specialties). Also, there are national  accreditations, while others only have an autonomic value. With respect to accreditation in coaching, a variety of established criteria and a lack of consensus among the schools of psychologists are observed, in which, moreover, it is presented as something transverse and  not related to specialties. These points are discussed and an accreditation structure and accreditation criteria in coaching are proposed.
